New Rules Surrounding Plasterboard Disposal

Important legal notice to customers. The Environment Agency has updated its recommendations for disposing of plasterboard. Plasterboard (gypsum) must be segregated as it can no longer be disposed of in mixed waste skip containers. This is with immediate effect.

Even little amounts of plasterboard and its derivatives might contaminate mixed garbage skip containers.

We are committed to decreasing waste going to landfills as a responsible waste management and recycling business to aid in the fight to safeguard our environment.

When booking your skip container, please let us know if you are disposing of plasterboard products so that we can ensure compliance.

When your skip is delivered, we’ll give you a special bag reserved only for plasterboard and plasterboard items.

There will be a charge for failure to separate plasterboard and therefore contaminate the mixed waste container.
